Our Story

As far as I could remember, this was something my mum asked me. She had undergone traditional schooling, yet struggled to participate in conversational English. The effects of not having language mastery is real: stalled career progression, emigration hesitations, travelling considerations, accessibility and enjoyment of entertainment and culture.

The implications of insufficient mastery of a language is not unique to my mum.

I see this amongst my high school classmates who did not have the chance to study abroad because of language considerations, and as a result have been exposed to a more constrained set of pathways.

I see this amongst students who struggled to learn because the curricula is taught in the state official language and they are fluent only in their regional dialects.

I see this amongst those looking to relocate, to immigrate, or even those who would like to appreciate the experiences that the world has to offer, and are hindered by their proficiency in their target language.

Ultimately, I see this in myself. I speak 5 languages fluently, and am actively learning my 6th. I love language learning with a fervour, and I want to learn languages in the most fun, efficient and pedagogically rigorous way possible.
